    Hybrid London/Home Based

    The Client

    Datacenter People is partnering with the leading provider of market data and analytics in the field of data centers and digital infrastructure.

    What The Job Involves

    • Developing and executing on a go-to market strategy. 
    • Building the existing sales pipeline and successfully conclude sales of our subscription and consultancy services within the EMEA region. 
    • Leading the development of a tailored “win strategy” for significant pursuits and maintaining a top pursuit list with quarterly reviews.  
    • Collaborating with our global team members to support the collective sales efforts of the group 
    • Leading client meetings / presentations.  
    • Leading / overseeing contract negotiations. 
    • Completing post-mortems to identify critical success factors in pursuits.  
    • Tracking and driving activity using a sales management database and use of data to consistently strengthen and improve pursuit strategies. 
    • Working with the EMEA Account Manager to secure renewals. 
    • Representing the business as part of the Senior Leadership Team both internally and externally. 
    • Keeping good records within the CRM. 
    • Preparing EMEA region sales projections and reporting to the board.
    • Identifying and communicating market trends, opportunities and competitive threats.
    • Running the sales plan and ensuring accountability through focus on activities aligned to an agreed regional business plan.
    • Monthly KPI review with CEO and board.
    • Ensuring that a consistent high-quality level of sales delivery is provided to all clients across all EMEA markets.

    We're Looking For Someone With

    • In-depth market knowledge, and well-developed professional network, within the data centre sector.  
    • Proven track record delivering data centre related services for clients. 
    • Experience of selling projects to deliver seamless client service. 
    • Demonstrable sales, business development and client relationship management skillset, including understanding client needs. 
    • Excellent relationship builder, with experience in networking and building credible relationships internally and externally. 
    • Experience in lead client contact positions, conducting pitches and presentations. 
    • Financial acumen with planning and operational reporting skills. 
    • High level business and report writing experience. 
    • Responsibility for strategic growth of teams, via recruitment and organic growth. 
    • Proven ability to develop skills and enable personal and professional growth of individuals. 
    • Effective delegation to drive efficiency and results. 
    • Motivational leadership, driving team and individual performance and engagement.  
    • Experience of successful conflict management and performance management. 
    • Experience of being a strong team player, ability to build relationships and consult with others and quickly establish trust and credibility.

      • Identify opportunities in different countries or divisions that we have not maximized within defined Key Accounts.
      • Have contact and regular meetings with the other Key Account Managers so together as a team you are clear on what each other is working on and you work in concert, so efforts are not duplicated.
      • Stay in adequate communication with the account contacts, expose the LDCS solution, and ensure we are communicating back to the business.
      • Retain a mix of existing accounts and prospect new accounts where required.
      • Perform other reasonable and relevant tasks as assigned by management.

      We’re Looking for Someone With

      • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the data centre industry.
      • Existing demonstrable contact base in Hyper-scale or Colocation DC is essential.
      • Connections with consultants is a preference, but not essential.
      • Excellent working knowledge of Data Centre infrastructure.
      • A minimum of 5 years sales experience primarily in B2B environments with proven results.
      • Capable of working with senior management staff of our customers.
      • Demonstrable success in account management for revenue growth.
      • Experience in prospecting and engaging new customers.
      • Hybrid role, expected travel 50% of time.

      • Participating in the development of budget targets and implementation of the annual sales plan for Legrand Group brands. 
      • Increasing customer awareness of systems and products offered by the Legrand Group in the Data Center and Server Room area. 
      • Maintaining close contact with existing partners and seeking new potential customers to build lasting business relationships. 
      • Cooperating with Legrand's engineering team and support departments in Poland and abroad to develop offers, customize technical documentation, complete information according to customers' needs. 
      • Monitoring of the market and competition in the Data Center area. 
      • Systematic reporting of work results and information obtained from the market. 
      • Ongoing cooperation with those responsible for servicing the Data Center market in Europe. 

      We’re Looking for Someone With

      • Experience in a similar position. 
      • Good performance in sales positions, welcome in technical organizations related to electrical installations. 
      • Good knowledge of the English language. 
      • Ability to create and maintain partnership relations with internal and external collaborators.

    • Senior Data Center Engineer

      Brussels, Belgium
       
      The Client

      Datacenter People is working with a global data center services provider delivering project management, engineering design and critical facility management to hyperscale, colocation, and edge leaders.

      What The Job Involves 

      • Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions in facilities systems. 
      • Complete planned and ad-hoc preventive maintenance work assignments requiring the skill and direction of several engineering, mechanical, and maintenance trades. 
      • Conduct periodic inspections of building systems, i.e., HVAC, electrical distribution, maintain mechanical equipment rooms to ensure clean and safe conditions. 
      • Rapid response, investigation, and management of indoor emergency situations and air quality complaints. 
      • Have a complete working knowledge of creating, closing, and tracking 'work requests' (WR). Initiate or respond to work orders, follow-up and verify completion of work. 
      • Use of customer ticketing systems and relevant processes e.g., change requests. 
      • Monitor performance/note deficiencies of service contractors and recommend changes as necessary. 
      • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. 
      • Work within a on call rotation during outside normal business hours and be able to respond to incidents while on call. 
      • Draft and review operational documents such as SOPs, MOPs, EOPs.

      We’re Looking for Someone With

      • Proven experience in the operation, installation, and maintenance of data center critical equipment, building systems with in-depth technical understanding and knowledge of all HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and control systems. 
      • Knowledge of the electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center environment, including: Feeders, Transformers, Generators, Switchgear, UPS systems, ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units, Chillers, Air handling units, CRAC units and building management systems (BMS). 
      • Good verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English. 
      • Electrical or mechanical qualification. 
      • Ability to write and review operational documents such as SOPs, MOPs, EOPs.
