    The Client


    Datacenter People is partnering with a global leader in power infrastructure for data centers and other mission-critical environments.

    What The Job Involves 

    • To lead our efforts in expanding business in the data centre industry.  
    • Responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth.  
    • Strengthening, expanding and qualifying the Export and Global Account Teams. 
    • Drive export sales by actively engaging with clients and partners in target countries. Develop strategies to increase market penetration and achieve sales targets. 
    • Collaborate with teams in different countries to align sales targets and objectives. Ensure that all parties are working towards common goals effectively. 
    • Provide regular reports on sales and budget achievements, as well as pipeline status. Analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. 
    • Develop and implement training programs for sales teams in target countries.  
    • Ensure that teams are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed. 
    • Act as the primary point of contact for teams and clients in target countries. Address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide support as needed. 
    • Assist in the execution of projects, ensuring that timelines and deliverables are met. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success. 
    • Work on developing the brand in international markets. Develop strategies to increase brand awareness and enhance brand perception. 
    • Assist the expansion team in identifying new market opportunities and developing entry strategies. Provide support in market research and analysis. 
    • Collaborate with global key accounts to ensure their needs are met and to strengthen relationships. Provide support in account management and customer satisfaction. 
    • Work closely with key accounts in the colocation sector, ensuring that their requirements are understood and addressed. Develop strategies to expand our presence in this sector. 

    We’re Looking for Someone With

    • At least 5 years' of experience in sales / business development and experience in the data center market.
    • A degree or diploma in business administration, sales or relevant field.
    • Languages: English, German (additional languages are a plus). 
    • Strong teamwork, communication and organisational skills. 
    • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment. 
    • Structured, independent, proactive and objective-orientated way of working.
    • Very high service and customer orientation.

      We’re Looking for Someone With

      • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar role in the data centre industry. 
      • Proven track record of success in designing, implementing, and managing data centre projects. Use of design tools, like AutoCAD, Revit or similar is welcome. 
      • Deep understanding of data centre concepts, including white space, power, cooling, thermal management, and latest IT infrastructure technology (OPC, GenAI, Blockchain). 
      • Proven strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices (EN50600, Uptime Institute’s Data Centre Tier Certification, C-Net’s CDCDP or equivalent). 
      • Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, telecommunication, computer systems) preferred. 
      • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
      • Creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills. 
      • Fluency in English and native proficiency in local language (German, Italian, Spanish French) required.

      What The Job Involves 

      • Safety initiatives: Develop and implement health and safety programs tailored to our Data Center operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations (e.g., Arbeitsschutzgesetz, DGUV) and global best practices. 
      • Collaborate across functions: Partner with Engineering, Operations, Facilities, and external contractors to ensure seamless integration of safety measures into daily activities and during project implementation.  
      • Identify and mitigate risks: Conduct thorough risk assessments and proactively address potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment. 
      • Drive compliance: Monitor adherence to German health and safety regulations and international standards, conducting regular audits and evaluating external service providers to verify compliance with occupational safety requirements. 
      • Investigate and learn: Lead incident investigations, analyzing root causes, and implementing strategies to prevent recurrence.

      • Qualified and knowledgeable: expertise in ISO45001/ISO14001 standards and a comprehensive understanding of German health and safety laws (ASiG), "Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit (FASI)" certification is essential. 
      • Technical background: Solid grounding in technical systems, infrastructure, and operational requirements in highly regulated environments. 
      • Proactive collaborator: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Facilities, and external contractors, embedding safety measures seamlessly into processes.

      Datacenter People has been instructed by a technically led, global real estate services company that has a focus on project delivery in critical environments.

      What The Job Involves 

      • Perform design reviews of systems. 
      • Develop, oversee and write start up and commissioning policies and procedures. 
      • QA/QC of the equipment installation. 
      • Perform construction observations and develop functional test plans. 
      • Execute tests for a wide variety of electrical and mechanical systems and to ensure testing is performed in conformance with standards and procedures. 
      • Assist in training of plant operations and maintenance personnel. 
      • Act as liaison with vendors and subcontractors regarding problem resolution and perform testing as required. 
      • Review and analyse data and prepare technical reports. 
      • Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors and other project team members.  
      • Work with others to manage small to mid-size projects to meet client expectations for technical excellence, budget and schedule.  
      • Other duties as assigned. 

      We’re Looking for Someone With

      • 7 years' of industry experience in either electrical power distribution or mechanical systems or both.  AA degree, military training or equivalent work experience.  
      • Experience in diagnosing and solving construction and operational problems. 
      • Be organized; possess excellent written and oral communication skills.   
      • Experience with MS word and excel is a must.  
      • Must have the ability to work in a high stress environment, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. 
      • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with and guide others. 
      • Knowledge of building codes and construction industry standards. 
      • Working knowledge of AutoCAD is considered a plus.  
      • Must have or be able to obtain a passport.
