    What The Job Involves 

    • Lead a team of Data Center Site Managers and personnel directly responsible for the operations, maintenance, building services, and physical security of critical Data Center facilities. 
    • Work collaboratively with global and local site teams to manage and ensure compliance with global engineering and operational policies, processes, and standards including uptime requirements. 
    • Build strong relationships with customers and drive customer success including meeting/exceeding customer SLA’s and reporting. 
    • Lead Change Management, Equipment Asset and Lifecycle, and Maintenance Management framework and processes for the region. 
    • Lead incident response processes for all engineering and security related incidents including participating in response efforts during emergencies, root cause analyses, corrective actions, and customer communications. 
    • Review and approve critical MOP’s, SOP’s, and EOP’s focusing on personnel health & safety and infrastructure reliability. 
    • Manage Operating Vendor/Partner relationship and selection process for the region. 
    • Develop and implement regional Quality Management Programs and KPI’s and conduct site assessments to ensure compliance with global standards and customer SLA’s. 
    • Partner with Design and Delivery Teams to review engineering design documentation, and to commission and transition data center infrastructure into production. 
    • Partner with Finance Team to manage Operating costs/budgets for the region including development of capital replacement and upgrade plans. 
    • Identify, champion and lead innovation throughout operations functions by thinking outside of the box, researching new technologies, and methods of management. 
    • Promote and build inclusive and transparent teams. 
    • Manage and deliver regional training programs including recurring emergency drills program based on global operational policies, processes, and standards. 
    • Conduct Corporate Audit and Certification processes as the business requires. 

    We’re Looking for Someone With

    • Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline. 
    • Master’s degree preferred. 
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in Data Center Operations in a leadership role of a global organisation. 
    • Minimum 7 years' experience working in a mission critical environment. 
    • In-depth knowledge of Data Center electrical and mechanical infrastructure including fire protection, safety, and building automation systems. 
    • Experience in property & building services, health & safety, energy management, financial budgets & reporting, physical security, and building relationships with customers. 
    • Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO, ASHRAE, IEEE, Uptime Institute, etc. 
    • Experience with Data Center management systems including BMS, EPMS, CMMS, and DCIM. 
    • Proficient in MS Products, AutoCAD and/or other engineering software packages. 
    • Thrives in a fast-paced and continuously developing environment. 
    • Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, communication, and collaboration in a team environment. 
    • Self-starter with superior analytical skills; a problem solver with an astute attention to detail. 
    • Possesses good judgment, honesty, and utmost integrity.

      • Knowledge of the electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center environment, including: Feeders, Transformers, Generators, Switchgear, UPS systems, ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units, Chillers, Air handling units, CRAC units and building management systems (BMS). 
      • Good verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English. 
      • Electrical or mechanical qualification. 
      • Ability to write and review operational documents such as SOPs, MOPs, EOPs.

      What The Job Involves 

      • Oversee the daily operations of multiple data centers across a region, ensuring that facilities meet all internal and external standards for uptime, efficiency, and security. 
      • Manage Data Center Managers, providing guidance and support to ensure alignment with company objectives and consistent service delivery across all sites. 
      • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all facilities to optimize operations, drive consistency, and ensure best practices. 
      • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as uptime, Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE), cooling efficiency, and operational costs, ensuring continuous improvements across all data centers.
