    The Client

    Datacenter People is working with the largest building commissioning and operational risk management providers in the world.

    What the Job Involves

    • Actively supports the Company’s commitment to safety and its core values.
    • Performs quality inspections in accordance with program quality control documentation. Participate and guide project quality control from kick-off until hand-off.
    • Provides oversight of the implementation of the QA/QC management system at site.
    • Coordinates the quality inspections with the site sub-contractors and vendors.
    • Coordinates with the customers representative on all quality matters.
    • Provides oversight in the distribution of relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors while reviewing that completed documentation is stored appropriately upon completion.
    • Verifies that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the design documents and program standards.
    • Participates in the internal and external site audits.
    • Coordinates all the quality site inspections through the Contractor QC team.
    • Ensures all quality control documentation is compiled and competed for as-built hand over through the Contractor QC team.
    • Provide review and reporting of all non-conformance reports and undertake remedial action. Monitors the implementation of the approved site QC Plan.
    • Completes and coordinates the approval of the sites QC technical submittals to the customer.
    • Coordinates with the Client and Contractor QA/QC team on all quality issues.
    • Coordinate and chair the QA/QC site weekly meetings with the Contractor QC personnel.
    • Assures all technical documents relative to site quality control are of current status.

    We’re Looking for Someone Who

    • Has 10 years' data center commissioning/QA experience.
    • Has a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline preferred.
    • Has Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, Quality Auditor, and/or Quality Engineer a plus.
    • Is experienced with ISO 9001 certification process.
    • Has a history and experience driving improved Quality at scale.
    • Is able to work seamlessly across functional and department lines.
    • Has experience with standard data center equipment to include: electrical distribution equipment from switchgear to panelboards, VFDs, low voltage power and moulded case circuit breakers, overhead IT busway, Diesel Generators, DX units, air handlers, water treatment equipment, BMS modules, and hot aisle containment accessories.
    • Is able to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

      • Prior estimating experience is required, ideally within Data Centers.

      The Client

      What The Job Involves

      • Ensuring the design team meets all project deliverables with adherence to budget, quality and schedule. 
      • Manage the project team, including all support staff e.g. DES, EngBIM. 
      • Manage local team support of worldwide projects - project size may merit a separate project specific DM. 
      • Manage all the projects under IRE TI Project, such as AZ.
      • Manage extra scope of work, such as MDP pilot, Cranes, HUPW.
      • Manage TIBB scope of work.
      • Attend/Lead meetings with Intel and internally (IR Check in, Package out, Staff Meeting, Ops, AZ huddle, AZ Check in, DES Feedback, BI weekly, Leads meeting, check out and any meeting required in short notice). 
      • Report to Intel DMs on status of tools and extra scope of work. 
      • Participate with project management to provide technical input for strategic planning. 
      • Support onboarding/upskilling manager with technical evaluations of staff.

      We’re Looking for Someone With

      • Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline. A higher national qualification (HNC, HND) may be acceptable with suitable professional experience. 
      • At least 10 years post-qualification experience involving multi-disciplinary designs.
      • Sound knowledge with broad experience in design, installation and management of multi-disciplinary design services. 
      • Self-motivated rational thinker with good motivational skills able to communicate with all disciplines at all levels.
      • Well organised and capable of organising others with the ability to manage people, processes and time. 
      • Team player with an energetic outlook able to educate and improve design team staff to achieve best results. 
      • Ability to analyse and monitor project requirements including programme, resource & cost.
      • Ability to work to deadlines, under pressure and on own initiative. 
      • The post holder should possess a current driving licence.

      What The Job Involves

      • Contribute to co-operative working across disciplines in accordance with the company’s procedures, and contribute to multi-disciplinary project teams. 
      • Contribute to ensuring that effective internal/external working relationships are established and maintained with clients, sub-contractors and specialist suppliers. Ensuring that confidentiality is observed and maintained when dealing with private/confidential correspondence, reports, statements, records, other documents and information. 
      • Ensure cross discipline collaboration with other internal and external designers. 
      • Prepare estimates for the implementation of Control and Instrumentation services. 
      • Carry out site surveys to identify the Client’s needs and requirements making recommendations as necessary. 
      • Produce and develop designs for Control and Instrumentation. 
      • Ensure that designs meet user requirements, cost limits and time scales. 
      • Contribute to the preparation of Health and Safety method statements and risk assessments in respect of construction work as required by the project to meet current legislation.

      • 3 years post qualification experience. 
      • Experience in the design, installation and management of C&I services. 
      • Working knowledge of current legislation and practices. 
      • Professional membership at any grade (working towards CEng status).
