Datacenter People is partnering with a global leader in power infrastructure for data centers and other mission-critical environments.

What The Job Involves 

• Lead the design and development of innovative modular data center solutions tailored to client needs and regional market demands.
• Ensure all solutions comply with industry standards, client requirements, and sustainability goals.
• Oversee the end-to-end deployment of modular data center systems, ensuring seamless integration and on-time delivery.
• Develop competitive, value-driven offers by collaborating with sales, marketing, and engineering teams.
• Analyse client requirements, market trends, and competitor offerings to craft solutions that stand out in the marketplace.
• Provide detailed technical and commercial input for proposal development, ensuring. 
• Coordinate with engineering, factory operations, and supply chain teams to ensure solutions are technically feasible and align with production capabilities.
• Collaborate with sales teams to support pre-sales efforts, including client meetings, presentations, and technical consultations.
• Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring project alignment and clear communication.
• Drive the modular data center strategy for the European region, aligning with the company's global vision and growth objectives.
• Monitor market trends and emerging technologies to inform product development and competitive positioning.
• Lead efforts to enhance scalability and flexibility of modular solutions, addressing current and future client demands.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring high-quality execution at every stage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the design and implementation phases to maintain client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Conduct quality reviews of modular projects to ensure compliance with safety, performance, and regulatory standards.
• Engage with clients to gather feedback, understand their evolving needs, and build long-term relationships.
• Present technical solutions, value propositions, and offer packages to clients and stakeholders.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and expertise during contract negotiations and project discussions.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for modular data center projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, process improvement, and cost optimisation in modular system development.

We’re Looking for Someone With

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the data center industry.
• Proven track record with Modular builds within data centers, electrical infrastructure, or similar high-tech industries.
• Capable of working with senior management staff of our customers.
• Experience in prospecting and engaging new customers.
• Familiarity with Data Center systems and electrical components is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in factory operations or project management is a plus.
• Strong project management, organisational, and communication skills.
• Technical understanding of data center infrastructure and related components.
• Proficiency in MS Office and bid management tools; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
