    The Client

    Datacenter People is partnering with a European specialist data center operator that delivers services through a campus model. Today they own and operate 22 data centers across France, Italy, Spain, Poland and Luxembourg.

    What The Job Involves 

    • Technical support to the Design & Construction team. 
    • Create Conceptual Designs.
    • Participate and validate the design principles regarding HVAC on a new building. 
    • Participate in the commissioning of the new buildings. 
    • Participate in the hand over process.
    • Support the general project manager in any specific questions during the whole design & construction process. 
    • Answer to the customer’s SOQ/RFP questions related to their field of expertise. 
    • Be the customer interface in their field expertise mainly during the design stage or during the construction/commissioning phase.

    We’re Looking for Someone With

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. 
    • 10 years' of experience.
    • LEED certification a plus. 
    • Experience with Electrical Systems.
    • Familiar with the design process of building systems for mission critical projects. 
    • Revit experience is a plus.
    • Computer savvy: MS Project.
    • Fluent in English.

      • Assists with special queries from other countries such as new data center launch, crisis resolution, or any other operations related topic. 

      We’re Looking for Someone With

      • 10+ years' experience in similar position or in mission-critical operation, with background in incident management and resolution.  
      • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Energy Engineering or equivalent experience. 
      • Fluent English (B2/C1). 
      • Experience in people management.
      • Experience with complex systems. 
      • Experience with change management and facility management. 
      • Experience with incident management, incident resolution and learning from errors.  
      • Agile with IT tools – knowledge of ticketing tools such as JIRA, Proxima or Remedy. 
      • KPI and metrics management and analysis.
      • Experience in managing people’s managers. 
      • Familiar with customer success management in Data Centers.

      What The Job Involves 

      • Develop and maintain project budgets in collaboration with project managers. 
      • Monitor budget performance, track variances, and report on financial status. 
      • Implement cost control procedures to track project expenses and identify discrepancies. 
      • Analyze financial data and prepare reports to assess cost performance and forecast future costs.
      • Generate regular financial reports, including cost forecasts, variance analyses, and project profitability assessments. 
      • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and project stakeholders.
      • Evaluate and process change orders and additional funding requests, ensuring proper documentation and approval. 
      • Assess the financial impact of changes on project budgets. 
      • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on financial goals. 
      • Facilitate communication between departments to resolve cost-related issues. 
      • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations. 
      • Recommend and implement cost control best practices and tools. 
      • Owns the process and is responsible for its accuracy and efficiency. Single point of contact and decision maker regarding the process.​ 
      • Defines (and update) the process, inputs, workflows and outputs (templates, references, decisions, roles and responsibilities, sup-processes).​ 
      • Documents the process at operating level (operating manual).​ 
      • Describes digital needs, then requirements and their priority. ​ 
      • Establishes test steps to validate digital needs once delivered (follow up with defects up to resolution).​ 
      • Outlines end-to-end test scenarios, executes and validates applying the process into a pilot 
      • Participates to end-to-end test performed at solution level (e.g. when a new release needs to be tested).​ 
      • Listen to the process and to PM community / users (Voice of the Process, Voice of the User), identifies improvement opportunities, implement them.​ 
      • Communicates to Solution Manager process needs or effects at solution level.

      We’re Looking for Someone With

      • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, or a related field. 
      • Experience: Minimum of 5 years' in project cost control, financial analysis, or project management, preferably in data center or construction projects. 
      • Proficient in project management software and financial modeling tools. 
      • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
      • certifications: Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM, Cost Engineer) are a plus. 
      • SOX knowledge.

      What The Job Involves 

      • Define and ensure implementation the Commissioning strategy at Data4 
      • Lead the commissioning process for data center projects, including all systems, electrical, mechanical, BMS.
      • Develop and implement commissioning plans, protocols, and schedules. 
      • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and successful commissioning. 
      • Conduct site inspections and functional testing of systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards. 
      • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the commissioning process. 
      • Ensure that documentation is well prepared and maintained, including commissioning reports and system performance data 
      • Provide training and support to operations staff on system functionality and maintenance. 
      • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices throughout the commissioning process. 
      • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in commissioning practices and technologies.
      • Serve as the company's internal expert on all commissioning aspects of data centers. 
      • Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders across various departments. 
      • Represent the company in external project meetings, discussions, and negotiations with vendors and consultants. 
      • Communicate clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring transparency and understanding. 
      • Identify opportunities for improvement in data center mechanical systems and processes. 
      • Lead the implementation of new technologies and best practices to enhance reliability, efficiency, and sustainability. 
      • Analyse data and performance metrics to identify areas for optimization. 

      We’re Looking for Someone With

      • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 
      • 5+ years of experience in commissioning management, preferably in data center or critical facility environments. 
      • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems in data centers. 
      • Familiarity with building codes, standards, and regulations related to data center operations. 
      • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. 
      • Professional certification (e.g., Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP)) is a plus. 
      • English: fluent.
