    What The Job Involves 

    • Develop and lead the electrical design direction that is coordinated with our global program. Including but not limited to electrical systems for hyperscale data centers, including sub-station, site & facility power distribution and backup power systems. 
    • Contribute to the development of our global electrical design roadmap. Knowledge of new technologies and the evaluation to determine their value in support of our customers’ future needs, our business objectives and the development of strategies for implementation into our program seamlessly. 
    • Stay up-to-date with advancements in electrical engineering and data center technologies, and recommend new technologies to improve the reliability and efficiency of our data center infrastructure. 
    • Provide leadership and direction to consulting engineering partners in support of implementing (“localizing”) electrical design strategies in various EU locations.  
    • Collaborate with other stakeholders to develop design criteria and support project budget development that is responsive to customer requirements and aligned with our business objectives. 
    • Provide technical review and design direction for site selection due diligence in various EU locations that is aligned with our global site selection program. Including coordinating sub-station design and site utility power distribution with electrical utility providers. 
    • Support the technical review and qualification of our global equipment vendor selections. 
    • Support review and selection of global consultant teams. 
    • Evaluate customer requirements / requests for proposals and provide the technical responses and documentation. Interface with customers directly to understand requirements, look at options and develop solutions. 
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations. 

    We’re Looking for Someone With

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 
    • 10 years of relevant data center experience in electrical engineering. 
    • Experience with high-density data centers and hyperscale environments. 
    • Professional Engineering license. 
    • Strong knowledge of electrical design, utility sub-stations (HV), power distribution systems (MV & LV), UPS, and backup power systems. 
    • Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations. 
    • Experience with electrical safety processes & procedures and SCCAF studies, including implementation. 
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team.
    • Experience in construction methods, schedules and budgets as it relates to the data center electrical systems. 
    • Experience with prefabrication/modular construction and manufacturing techniques. 
    • Thrives in a fast-paced and continuously developing environment. 
    • Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, communication and collaboration in a team environment. 
    • Self-starter with superior analytical skills; a problem solver with an astute attention to detail.

      What The Job Involves 

      • DIMS: Respect and enforce the certification policy and be proactive in improving the Integrated Management System (IMS) with stakeholders. 
      • H&S: Respect and enforce health and safety rules. 
      • Environment: Respect and enforce environmental policies. 
      • Information security: Respect and enforce information security policies. 
      • Energy: Respect and enforce the policy of energy management policy. 
      • Hires and inducts the right team of DC Infrastructure Lead, Energy Manager, Operational Quality Manager, DC Operations Contract Manager.

      • Defines performance targets and implements improvement plans with France Country Director to address performance issues.

      We’re Looking for Someone With

      • 10+ years' experience in similar position or in mission-critical operation, with background in incident management and resolution.  
      • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Energy Engineering or equivalent experience. 
      • Fluent English (B2/C1). 
      • Experience in people management.
      • Experience with complex systems. 
      • Experience with change management and facility management. 
      • Experience with incident management, incident resolution and learning from errors.  
      • Agile with IT tools – knowledge of ticketing tools such as JIRA, Proxima or Remedy.
