    Datacenter People is partnering with a leading designer and manufacturer of modular power solutions and custom, best-in-class prefabricated modular data centers.

    What The Job Involves

    • In alignment with Brand Management, develop and implement successful sales strategies, programs and initiatives that achieve our sales plan, operating profit plan, market share objectives, and working capital goals. Drive accountability throughout the team focused to retain and grow business with existing customers, penetrate new markets and add new accounts
    • Develop and implement business plans, forecasts, competitive analysis and general sales insights and sales efficiency.
    • Develop and lead sales plans and budgets.
    • Develop, direct and lead a revenue and profit plan for assigned accounts to achieve maximum penetration. 
    • Provide overall product direction as it relates to the channel.
    • Identify product gaps (design, price, quality) and provide general recommendations and direction to improve our market presence.

     
    We're Looking For Someone With

    • Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA is preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years' of sales experience is required. A minimum of 8 years of sales leadership.
    • 5+ years' of experience within the Data Center Market, working directly with large owners, developers and engineers preferred.
    • Experience working for an electrical components manufacturer, electrical/general contractor, or pre-fab/modular construction focused company is preferred.
    • Proven ability to influence others as well as lead and empower teams, including a direct sales force.
    • A track record of achieving tough demanding goals.
    • A high degree of creative intelligence.
    • A demonstrated ability of problem-solving and priority setting and quality decision-making.
    • Possess strong strategic and tactical skills.
    • Strong presentation, interpersonal and professional image.
    • Ability to travel over 50-60%.

      • 3-5 years' experience in administering and managing facility preventative maintenance programs.
      • 3-5 years' experience in vendor and project management.
      • Ability to handle a multitude of tasks and work well in stressful situations.
      • Expert understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center environment. These include, but not limited to: UPS, Transformers, PDU’s, RPP’s,
      • Chillers, CRAH, CRAC, STS, ATS, and Pre-action systems
      • Expert knowledge of NFPA70e, NFPA72, NFPA25, and compliance issues as well as building codes in regard to fire life safety.

      What The Job Involves 

      • Define and deploy indicators to control and monitor your region's performance. 
      • Monitor performance and assist teams in the operation of IT and infrastructure activities: growth connections, inventory management, etc.
      • You help maintain and run the data center infrastructure. 
      • Plan and coordinate the operational activities of the data centers located in your region. 
      • Ensure that expected service levels are met and guarantee operational improvement. 
      • Monitor the application of our key regional processes and participate in the continuous improvement of processes within your scope. 
      • Ensure that data centers and production facilities comply with local regulations. 
      • Manage operational teams in your region's data and production centers. 
      • Inform, direct and coordinate center managers. 
      • Contribute to the deployment of skills and the optimisation of regional organisation.

      We’re Looking for Someone With

      • Very good knowledge of IT and data center infrastructures. 
      • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills. 
      • Ability to manage and support data center and production managers. 
      • Mastery of continuous improvement and industrial performance methods 
      • Crisis management. 
      • Knowledge of operational management tools (budgeting, reporting, etc.) 
      • Ability to work in compliance with standards and regulations. 
      • Good knowledge of English and French, written and spoken.
      • Good leadership skills.
      • Open-mindedness and ability to involve employees in a global context

      • Proven experience in site management. 
      • 10 years' experience in industrial site management, and in intercultural environments
