    The Client

    Datacenter People has been instructed by a global player and the leading European cloud provider operating over 450,000 servers within 34 data centers across 4 continents to reach 1.6 million customers in over 140 countries.

    What The Job Involves 

    • Define and deploy indicators to control and monitor your region's performance. 
    • Monitor performance and assist teams in the operation of IT and infrastructure activities: growth connections, inventory management, etc.
    • You help maintain and run the data center infrastructure. 
    • Plan and coordinate the operational activities of the data centers located in your region. 
    • Ensure that expected service levels are met and guarantee operational improvement. 
    • Monitor the application of our key regional processes and participate in the continuous improvement of processes within your scope. 
    • Ensure that data centers and production facilities comply with local regulations. 
    • Manage operational teams in your region's data and production centers. 
    • Inform, direct and coordinate center managers. 
    • Contribute to the deployment of skills and the optimisation of regional organisation. 
    • Help define the training and documentation required to optimise and improve performance.
    • Drawing up workload and recruitment plans with the human resources department. You participate in the recruitment of production data center teams. 
    • Define and evaluate the budgets required for each center in the region.
    • Provide leadership and direction for your region's development initiatives. 
    • Build strong links with companies in your region and contribute to regional development and growth.
    • Contribute to the deployment of new data centers in your region. 
    • In liaison with the regional sales team, you will contribute to knowledge of our activities and operating model and supervise visits to our data centers. 
    • Manager of the Beauharnois site, which is unique in that it contains both a data center and a production center. 
    • As such, you are the main contact for local and regional external authorities, as well as the internal contact for OVHcloud HQ services. 
    • Lead the local management committee, monitor KPIs for the 2 parts Production and Data center.
    • Coordinate operations for the data center, production center and site growth with expansion projects. 
    • Responsible for relations with the USA sites, in conjunction with the USA regional manager, mainly concerning the production of racks for the USA region. 
    • Responsible of promoting OVHcloud externally with the local community and be in charge of relations with neighbouring manufacturers. 

    We’re Looking for Someone With

    • Very good knowledge of IT and data center infrastructures. 
    • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills. 
    • Ability to manage and support data center and production managers. 
    • Mastery of continuous improvement and industrial performance methods 
    • Crisis management. 
    • Knowledge of operational management tools (budgeting, reporting, etc.) 
    • Ability to work in compliance with standards and regulations. 
    • Good knowledge of English and French, written and spoken.
    • Good leadership skills.
    • Open-mindedness and ability to involve employees in a global context 
    • ability to lead and unite teams.
    • Proven experience in site management. 
    • 10 years' experience in industrial site management, and in intercultural environments  
    • Experience within global companies, interacting with corporate departments based in Europe. 
    • Strong regional network.  
    • Experience in IT is a plus.
